These ability markers help provide a clear board state and prevents cheating in keeping track of the abilities used during each turn. Put the markers on your cards and leave the markers on and simply flip them over to show "Ability Used," and flip them back after you finish your turn to be used again the following turn. This has proven to be a much more concise and faster method than "tapping" the cards.
